How I was attacked by someone who has Bipolar & why this is not an excuse

I guess after Lockdown and COVID 19, the most popular subject is Mental Health & the problems which we are facing and will be facing.

No Mental Health is no joke, and it is as important as our physical body health. But also, MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES are not an EXCUSE to be rude, arrogant, and aggressive.

At the moment, we are in a situation where people with mental illnesses are suffering the most. Because their daily routine has changed, ( going to work, going to therapists, doing daily tasks which avoids the triggers — walking, working out, and so on). And as their Mental health is not as strong as someone’s who doesn’t have mental health issues, they might be losing their minds.

I was thinking quite some time about whether I should write about it or not. Because the person who attacked me is Bipolar, and he is not the first Bipolar person I have come across in my lifetime. ( and maybe this is why I knew how to handle it better).

Someone who has a Bipolar is not a joke, but it is also not an excuse for spreading hate, being arrogant, or violent. I know that the worse thing you can tell to a Bipolar when they are on their HIGH PEAK, that they are not all right or something is wrong with them. It’s like putting wood into the fire.
