I understand that this post is more about the investment and growth of Meta.

But it might come as a surprise to the Meta team and people who make decisions. Still, the moment you pretty much limited the organic reach and the only way to WIN the game was to pay the ads - you lost a lot of people, especially the young generation.

Because honestly, reading or seeing sponsored videos is not why people come to any of these platforms.

Yes, one thing is to make money. Another thing is to understand your audience as well.

For example, on Instagram: 70% of my feed is ads, and 30% is about the people I follow or posts I like to see.

If I see 70% of ads that may be targeted but don't give me any "feeling."

Yes, one thing is making money, investing, and growing. But also another thing is to understand that people find alternatives very quickly ...

So making FB and IG like TikTok or promoting video content. At the same time, Tiktok and Youtube are paying much more for the creators than Meta. Plus, I do not think you will get much original content.

Well, anyways.. this is just food for thought that making what others do - will not bring META to another level.
